About Retaining Walls

At Paveressonce LLC, every retaining wall we construct begins with a solid foundation.  A layer of 57 stone is compacted before the wall is laid out to ensure a level foundation that withstand shifting soils and external sources over time. The 57 stone is known for its durability and excellent compaction properties.

We incorporate Geo grid into the construction of our retaining walls. This high-strength material helps bind the soil/stone behind the wall itself which increases the strength of the wall and prevents failure.

Proper drainage is critical behind any retaining wall to prevent hydrostatic pressure and eventual structure failure due to water build-up. We install a drainage system behind each wall with a minimum of 4" pipe and backfilling the wall with 57 stone to help channel water away from the wall.
